[SGVHAK] Birds of Feather session at SCALE

Darn.  Accidentally hit send.  

We are planning a Birds of a Feather session at SCALE this year.  We should think of who we are targeting and what we will be doing for our BoF session.  I know Braddock wants to have an Internet in a Box BoF, as well.


Here is some info regarding Birds of a Feather session from last year:

1) BoF sessions are either Friday (starting at 6pm) or Saturday (starting at 7pm) night. They usually last about an hour.  Last BoF starts at 9pm.  
2) There was a registration page via the website.  Last year, this just linked to a Google form.  This helps them schedule the session for one of the conference or meeting rooms, which are used for panels and talks during the day.  

I asked Gareth and he said that we could start registering soon and he'll ping the PR team.  So I guess those of us on the SCALE mailing list will get notified.
I'm not sure how easy it will be to find the BoF page.  If I go by SCALE 11x, it's under the Special Events page.

NOTE: On Saturday, there is usually some social event in the evening.  For the past couple of years, there have been game nights.  Last year, 8pm-9pm was family hour, and then the main game night ran from 9pm to midnight.
