Last April the Repair Cafe was awarded the "2013 Green City Award for Waste Reduction" by the city of Pasadena.

We usually have 3 or 4 people trying to fix appliances, and some people who sew to fix clothing and sometimes jewelry. If you have time, come by and see how it works, and perhaps help us fix stuff. Or bring something we can fix.
And you can learn about the Time Bank, a sort of "work barter" system.
