I've been to IdeaLab before and agree it's a good space. We'll see if we can hammer out the logistics by mid-next week so I can finally update the Meetup notice.
I invite all of you who are either active in 3D printing or want to get into 3D printing to come to this Meetup. And please bring things for show and tell, whether it's a little gadget that's useful for the home, something decorative for the desk, or prototypes for work or hobby builds. This meetup is all about the challenges and possibilities of 3D printing.

Jess, maybe we can try to record this one. John, can you take photos? Thinking ahead, I'd love to have photos or short videos from this Meetup for our booth at SCALE.
New Matter, a new 3D printing company incubated at IdeaLab will be interested in hosting this event. Lan, I sent you a contact email. Idealab has a large presentation room with tables, chairs, projector, microphone, wifi etc.
I wanted to bring in the 3D printing community--whether they are experts or neophytes--to share the stuff that they've printed and spark a conversation about what we can do with 3D printing, how to get started, and how 3D printing can be used for art, home, hobby, and work. I already have some good leads on folks to invite, but I can only do it if we have an appropriate venue.
