<p>Sorry if you get this twice. The t-shirts and BoF is really for both SGVLUG and SGVHAK. The t-shirts are really better than I imagined. Much thanks too John for getting this done so quickly and dropping it off at SCALE for us. And to Michael for organizing the t-shirt order.</p>
<p>If you're coming to the BoF, just consider it a special HAK meeting where you can show off your cool toys and talk with fellow enthusiasts. I am bring my usual stuff, though I think I will be too busy chatting to work on anything. I have one of the special edition SGVHAK Raspberry Pi cases.</p>
<p>Warning: You may find it difficult to access the Internet. I've always found getting decent wifi and/or 3G (now 4G) difficult once the conference is in full swing. Way too much competition for bandwidth. Plus, hotel has poor cell reception in some areas.</p>

<p>As you know, the Southern California Linux Expo (SCALE) is this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.</p>
<p>We are holding a Birds of a Feather session for the SGVHAK group on Saturday at 8pm. SGVLUG and Ubuntu Hour folks are welcome, along with whoever you can drag with you. We are in room Los Angeles A. Incidentally, there is a Raspberry Pi enthusiast group meeting in the same room at. 9pm, so perhaps there will be some cross-pollination. (I think all the registered BoFs are on the SCALE calendar by now.)</p>

<p>Those of you who ordered the SGVHAK/SGVLUG t-shirts can pick them up from Michael Starch or myself, if you can catch us when we're not running around dealing with A/V issues. You can email me directly if you want to arrange a time too pick up the shirt at SCALE. The idea is to wear it on Saturday and lure people to our BoF. </p>
<p>The t-shirts are courtesy of John Wang and Tux Labs ( http://www.tux-lab.com/) for the purpose of promoting the SGVHAK and SGVLUG at SCALE. They turned out really well. They are white t-shirts printed using dye sublimation. We have the HAK logo and sgvhak.org on the front and Tux penguin and sgvlug.org on the back. </p>
