Hi all,

The following message is from our friends at Hackaday about their conference in November.  They have extended their Call for Proposals to August 22nd.
If you've been working on a cool project or want to run a workshop, propose something.  There are a lot of great folks who are part of the Hackaday community, but they are always looking for new voices and new faces.   The conference ticket is currently $256, so getting in for free is a pretty nice perk of being accepted.

Hackaday is having their 3rd annual Hackaday Superconference Nov 11-12 in Pasadena, CA. This conference brings together tech folk of all disciplines. This year, we sold out of early bird tickets within the first day, as the conference gains popularity every year.
I was wondering if you or anyone in your groups would be interested in speaking or running a workshop at Superconference? If so, the call for proposals deadline has been extended until August 22nd. Please apply or share this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfcq-ZWoK0Jj-xY_Lcx15oT_zmWwCF-eCX9BbpnvaZAp4bpEw/viewform?usp=send_form
Presenters get free tickets for the conference, access to speaker only events, and travel stipends are available (Tindie sellers can get additional help with expenses). Last year there were over 100 submissions for about 30 slots, but I'm reaching out because we want to hear from new people.

We're really interested in hearing from both first-time speakers, as well as experienced speakers, and seeing new projects that people are working on or struggling with. Would you pass this on to anyone there that you think would be interested in presenting?
The talks always end up on Hackaday as a featured article (good for startup promo), and we have high res video of the talk (good for portfolios). We also think the networking at the Superconference is top notch; the "alley" out back (that connects the two buildings we use) has created many company connections we have heard about since the 2016 conference.

There will be a bunch of the Tindie community attending, as well as key team members. We look forward to seeing you there.
Hope to hear from you!
