[SGVHAK] 3D-print a tiny wrench? [was: 3D Printer World ...]

Would 3D printing be a practical way to make a wrench for eyeglass
repair?  These eyeglasses have tiny nuts (2.8 mm flat-to-flat) holding
the nose bridge to the plastic lenses.  They don't need much torque
obviously, but a snug fit would be nice.  Would open-end or socket be
better?  There isn't much clearance for an all-around socket, so the
material would have to have some strength.  What would be the material?
