Is my math correct?
If the old fan uses ~20 watts and the new uses (possibly) 1/2 the power (10 watts), and at $0.07 / kWh, ummm lets see...
10 watts * $7E-5 / hour = $0.0007 / hour savings. Or 10,000 hours of use to pay for the $7 fan.
